Do I need an account to book?

Yes. Every client needs an account to access the studio. Your account is the key that unlocks the doors by Bluetooth.

What is contactless tanning?

Contactless tanning uses an automated booth that sprays a fine, even mist of tanning solution for a quick, natural looking tan. There is no technician and nobody else in the room.

How long will my tan last?

Accepted Answer

Without moisturising, expect 5 to 7 days. With moisturising, expect 7 to 10 days. Use a tan safe body wash and avoid putting perfume directly on your skin.

How do I enter the studio?

With an account and a booking, you enter through the Sugarcoat app. When you arrive, tap check in to activate the Bluetooth, then hold your phone to the reader and the door unlocks.

What is your cancellation policy?

Bookings cancelled more than 2 hours before your appointment are eligible for a refund. Cancellations within 2 hours, or no shows, are not. Cancel in the app, then contact our team to process any refund.

What is provided in the session?

Every session includes barrier and blending cream, a disposable hair net, a disposable G-string, personal wipes, tanning stickers, sticky feet and 24-hour security.

Is automated spray tanning safe, and are solariums legal in SA?

Spray tanning is UV free and completely safe. Commercial solariums, the UV sunbeds, are banned across Australia, so a contactless spray tan is the safe way to get a glow.

An automated spray tan booth applies your tan for you, with no technician and no hand held spray gun. You step into a private booth, the nozzles apply an even mist, a voice guide walks you through four poses, and you are done in about four minutes.

How do I prepare for my spray tan?

Exfoliate the day before, and shave or wax at least 24 hours ahead. Arrive with clean, dry skin, free of makeup, moisturiser, deodorant and perfume, and wear dark, loose clothing.
